We all know how imperfections on the face can influence our self-esteem, especially if those imperfections are acne. Some people are lucky and they aren't prone to them, but for others, like myself, it can be the biggest problem in life. Acne occurs when clogged pore traps skin oil in it, and acne bacteria feed on it. So, how to keep your pores clean? With good face masks for acne! I've tried some amazing face masks that I want to share with you. Of course, there are many other things you can do apart from applying a mask, but we'll talk about it later. Let's see what face mask for acne would suit your skin type the best, shall we?
The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Clay Mask
I have to be honest with you, this is one of my favorite face masks for acne. It soaks the excess oil and clears up your skin. You should know that The Body Shop is a quality and very known brand, and their products smell great. Don't worry about the ingredients of this mud mask. The Body Shop is a bit pricey, but you always know what you pay for. You can never go wrong with the Body Shop. The tea that is put in this mask is directly from the foothills of Mt. Kenya, and it will clear your pores without drying the skin too much. Although products which dry skin can sometimes make acne partly clear, it's not good for the skin. It cracks and peels off.
The Ordinary AHA Peeling Solution
Ordinary is no ordinary brand. It makes the most recommended products of high quality. This product is a bit different than the Body Shop's mud mask. It contains a mix of 30 percent Alpha Hydroxy Acids and 2 percent Beta-Hydroxy Salicylic Acid. It will balance the pH of your skin and deeply exfoliate it, clearing all the pores in your skin. It's really important to neutralize the pH of your skin, and using makeup and some other products can clog pores and disrupt the pH balance. That's why it's important at least to use facial toners, but why would you, when this AHA peeling solution mask can do both? Aside from this, I've also used some other Ordinary products and I'm really satisfied with this brand.
Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser Mask
This is something that can be used both as a face cleanser and a mask, and it's really not expensive. Neutrogena is a brand that is recommended by many dermatologists, so give it a try. This is a charcoal mask with acne-fighting formula. Keep in mind that mud and charcoal are beneficial to our skin. There are all kinds of natural treatments and not only do they make your skin clearer, but they also have some other health benefits as well.
Dr. Jart Dermask Micro Jet Clearing Solution Mask Sheet
This is a sheet mask. It even reduces the visibility of the scars and evens your skin tone, which sounds more than perfect. It also prevents acne from coming back again. So, if you really want to try a good face mask in sheet form, start with this one.
Ole Henriksen Cold Plunge Pore Mask
This is a cold and cooling face mask that will reduce the look of your pores. Some people are struggling with the size of their pores, but with this cream, they can leave their problems in the past. This brand is also well-known and also recommended. If you don't like rough skin products that stick on your skin too tightly, this is the one for you. It's very calming, and the ingredients are okay.
Swisse Manuka Honey Detoxifying Facial Mask
You want to get rid of the acne with natural ingredients, but you're too afraid to experiment with them? First of all, don't make an unnecessary mess in your kitchen. Instead of that, buy this amazing face mask. Honey is great for fighting black spots and scars. My advice is not to make natural masks with honey when this product exists. Once, I had a rash on my skin because of honey, so be careful when you make natural masks. Personally, I like to play it safe and buy a product made of high-quality ingredients rather than mixing a few natural ingredients and apply it on my face. I will certainly never forget that incident with honey.
The Final Word
Well, what face mask for acne seems the best for you? As you can see, there are many types of face masks, so don't worry. There's always some kind of a solution for acne. Try some of these masks as they are all highly recommended. Most importantly, love yourself with or without acne. Do what you can to prevent them- clean your face regularly and don't apply too much makeup. For everything else, I am here to lend you a hand if you need it.
